A stunning transformation of a dated 1990s master bathroom into a luxurious spa-inspired retreat in a Jersey City high-rise. The homeowners—a professional couple with demanding careers—wanted their bathroom to feel like a five-star hotel escape. We gutted the entire space, replacing pink tile and brass fixtures with floor-to-ceiling Calacatta Gold marble, a freestanding Victoria + Albert soaking tub, and a walk-in rain shower with dual shower heads. The custom double vanity features book-matched marble tops with integrated vessel sinks and soft-close drawers. Heated marble floors ensure comfort on cold mornings, while a Toto Neorest smart toilet adds modern luxury. The transformation took 6 weeks and increased the condo's value by an estimated $85,000. The clients now start each day in their own private sanctuary, proving that thoughtful bathroom design can genuinely improve quality of life.
